Account & Data Deletion
This page provides instructions on how to permanently delete your account and associated data from the Football Matcher app. For any assistance, you can contact us at support@footballmatcher.app.
How to Delete Your Account
You can request to delete your account directly from within the app by following these steps:
- Open the Football Matcher app and go to the Home screen.
- In the top profile section, tap the three-dots menu icon next to your email address.
- Select the "Delete Account" option.
- A confirmation dialog will appear. Please read it carefully.
- Confirm the deletion by tapping "Delete". This action is irreversible.
What Data Will Be Deleted?
When you delete your account, the following data associated with your user ID will be permanently and irreversibly removed:
- Your user profile information (name, email, etc.).
- Your memberships in any groups.
- All your event RSVPs (both as a holder and reserve).
- Your notification history.
- Any roles (admin, moderator) you have in any groups.
- Your Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token for push notifications.
Data Retention
We do not retain any personal data after your account has been deleted. All information is permanently removed from our systems.
